Issue the following command to establish a TFTP connection with the
router.
connect
<IP_address>
<IP_address>
is the IP address of the router.
Example
connect 1.1.1.1
3. Enter the following command to specify that the file to be transferred is
binary:
mode binary
4. Enter the following command to retrieve a copy of the file:
get
<filename>
<filename.>
is the name displayed after you issued the get command in
“Getting the Name of the P
acket Capture File.”
Example
get PCAP0400
5. Enter the following command to terminate TFTP:
quit
Using XMODEM to Transfer the File
Enter the following Technician Inteface command to transfer a copy of the Packet
Capture file from the router’s memory:
xmodem sb
<filename>
<filename>
is the name displayed after you issued the get command in “Getting
the Name of the Packet Capture File.”
Note: We support only single file mode for the XMODEM protocol. We do not
support the YMODEM protocol.
