Local Net Range Conﬂict Event Message

Conﬁgure the router’s interface to match the network range conﬁgured on the seed

router.

The conﬁgured network range failed to match that of another seed router’s deﬁned

network range. The router sent a request for network information and received a

response that contained a network range that was inconsistent with that conﬁgured

for the interface.

Zone . . . Conﬂict Event Message

If the message Zone Name Conflict, Number of Zones on Extended Net Conflict,

Default Zone–Seed Conflict appears in the event log, conﬁgure the router’s

interface to match the zones conﬁgured on the seed router.

The conﬁgured network range failed to match the deﬁned zones of another seed

router. The router sent a ZIP (Zone Information Protocol) request and received a

response that contained zone information that was inconsistent with that

conﬁgured for the interface.

The message

Number of Zones on Extended Net Conflict appears if a zone other

than the default zone fails to match that of the seed router, or if the default zone

name is in the zone list. The default zone should not be in the zone list.

The message

Default Zone – Seed Conflict appears if the default zone fails to

match that of the seed router.
