Edit the DCM Global parameters you want to change.
For a description of the DCM Global parameters, see the Site Manager Help
screen, or one of these guides:
Connecting AN and ANH Systems to a Network
Configuring Remote Access.
6. Set the Configuration Mode parameter to SHARED MEMORY.
7. Set the Write Configuration Info parameter to WRITE.
This writes the changes into the Ethernet DCM’s shared memory.
8. Set the Enable/Disable parameter to ENABLE.
9. Click on OK.
Disabling the Ethernet DCM
To temporarily disable an installed Ethernet DCM board from collecting data
from the Configuration Manager window:
1. Select Platform > DCM 11.0 and later > Global... > Base Module DCM
(refer to F
igure 2-5).
The Edit Base Module DCM Parameters window appears (F
igure 2-4).
2. Set the Enable/Disable parameter to DISABLE.
3. Click on OK to exit the Edit Base Module DCM Parameters window.
If disabling the board does not work, you can delete the software subsystem to
totally shut down the Ethernet DCM. Refer to “Deleting the Ether
net DCM
Software Subsystem.”
Activating the Ethernet DCM
To activate the Ethernet DCM for data collection from the Configuration Manager
window:
1. Select Platform > DCM 11.0 and later > Global... > Base Module DCM
(refer to F
igure 2-5).
The Edit Base Module DCM Parameters window appears (F
igure 2-4).
2. Set the Enable/Disable parameter to ENABLE.
