Parameter: IP Address
Default: 0.0.0.0
Options: Any valid IP address
Function: Specifies the corresponding IP address for the client with the MAC
address you specify.
When the router receives a RARP request from the client, the router
assigns this IP address to the client and includes it in a response packet.
Instructions: Enter the IP address corresponding to the value of the MAC Address
parameter. Do not accept the default value.

Disabling RARP Globally
To globally disable RARP from all router interfaces on which it is configured,
begin at the Configuration Manager window (r
efer to Figure 1-3) and
1. Select Protocols > IP > Reverse ARP > Globals.

Set the Enable/Disable parameter to Disable.
3. Click on OK.
This action disables RARP on all router interfaces.
