Parameter: Server Forward Enable
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > NHRP > NhrpNetTable
Default: Enable
Options: Enable
|
Disable
Function: Enables or disables NHRP server request forwarding to other NHRP servers if
the requested address resolution is not cached locally.
Instructions: In virtually all configurations, accept the default value. Select Disable to disable
NHRP request forwarding. Accept the default, Enable, to enable NHRP request
forwarding.

Parameter: Server Max Next Hop Entries
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > NHRP > NhrpNetTable
Default: 5
Options: 1 to 20
Function: Specifies the maximum number of next-hop entries that the server will keep. If
the NHRP resolution reply message has more entries, the last entries will be
discarded.
Instructions: In most configurations, accept the default value. Setting a higher value may
adversely affect performance.

Parameter: Server Max Pending Request Entries
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > NHRP > NhrpNetTable
Default: 100
Options: 1 to 100
Function: Specifies the maximum number of pending requests that the router will queue.
Instructions: In most configurations, accept the default value. Ensure that you have sufficient
memory space to accommodate the number of pending requests that you
specify.
