Glossary of Avaya MPS Series Terminology process

process A computer function that, among other things, performs various data

manipulations and/or communication tasks. Also known as a software

process.

Avaya MPS processes include ALARMD, CLP, COMMGR,

CONOUT, CONSOLED, CPSIO, ECD, PLM, SMP, SRP,

VENGINE, VMST, and VSTAT.
