PACE Periphonics Asynchronous Communications Exchange. The

native data message exchange format for async hosts. PACE is also

applicable to the 3270 mode of operation.

To maintain backward compatibility, the Avaya MPS converts 24-byte

header messages into PACE format.

pace timers Input processing options that either cause an event when they expire

or are turned off by software when a certain event occurs. Pace timers

include: origin, tone, rend, and pickup (for a blind outdial/referral).

You can customize many pace timers with the PeriProducer

Environment block.
