About This Guide
If you are responsible for configuring Simple Network Management Protocol
(SNMP), remote monitoring (RMON), Bootstrap Protocol (BootP), Dynamic
Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and Reverse Address Resolution Protocol
(RARP) on Bay Networks
®
routers or BayStream
platforms, you need to read
this guide.
You can now use the Bay Command Console (BCC
) to configure SNMP
services on a router; you must use Site Manager to configure RMON, BootP,
DHCP, and RARP services. In this guide, you will find instructions for using both
the BCC and Site Manager.
