Disabling and Reenabling TFTP Services
After you configure IP and start TFTP on the router, TFTP is enabled on the
router. You can disable and reenable TFTP using the BCC or Site Manager.
Using the BCC
To disable TFTP, navigate to the TFTP prompt and enter:
disable
For example, the following command disables TFTP on the router:
tftp#
disable
tftp#
To reenable TFTP, navigate to the TFTP prompt and enter:
enable
For example, the following command reenables TFTP on the router:
tftp#
enable
tftp#
Using Site Manager
To disable and reenable TFTP services, complete the following tasks:
Site Manager Procedure
You do this System responds
1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose
Protocols
.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose
IP
. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose
TFTP
. The TFTP menu opens.
4. Choose
Edit TFTP Parameters
. The Edit TFTP Parameters window
opens.
5. Set the
Enable
parameter. Click on
Help
or see the parameter description on
page A-8.
6. Click on
OK
. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
