Contacting the sender of a message
You can respond to a CallPilot mess age or an Microsoft Outlook message with a
telephone call instead of a recorded message.
When the sender of a message originates from within a Microsoft Exchange
Server, the address is known, because the address is listed in your Address
Book.
When the sender of a message originates from an external SMTP server, the
sender appears as Unknown in the Inbox and CallPilot form, regardless of
whether the sender is listed in your Address Book.
Contacting the sender of a message when the address is known
1 Select a message in your CallPilot or Microsoft Outlook Inbox.
2 Click the Contact Sender toolbar icon. .
Because the e-mail sender’s Address Book entry can contain multiple numbers,
all telephone numbers that can be found for the sender are presented to you in
the Contact dialog box (see dialog box on page 33
). Choose the appropriate
number, and press the Contact Sender button. The CallPilot Desktop client
attempts to remember changes you make, if you select the Remember Changes
checkbox.
3 Answer the telephone when the telephone rings. CallPilot immediately calls the
sender of the message.
4 When you finish the call, hang up the telephone, or click Disconnect .
Note: User can contact the sender by e-mail, or choose a contact from any global or
local address list, or a Microsoft Outlook contact.
