DVMRP Interface Parameters

Parameter: Max Routes

Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > DVMRP > Global

Default: 0

Options: 0 or an integer

Function: Specifies the number of routes that DVMRP can learn per slot. This parameter

limits the number of routes that can be stored in the routing table.

Instructions: If you want DVMRP to store all learned routes in the routing table, use the

default, 0. If you specify a maximum number of routes, you must include a route

for every local network that has a circuit configured for multicasting.

Parameter: Enable

Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > DVMRP > Circuit

Default: Enable

Options: Enable

Disable

Function: Enables or disables DVMRP on this circuit.

Instructions: If you have configured DVMRP on this circuit, enter Disable to disable it.
