114 Chapter 9 Connecting the cables to the BCM50 system

4 Use a small slotted screwdriver to unscrew the wire hole screws on top of the terminal block.
5 Insert the bare wire ends (6 mm or 0.25 in.) in the appropriate holes on the sides of the
terminal block.
6 Tighten the screws to hold the wires in place.
7 Reinstall the terminal block on the patch panel.
8 Connect the wires (digital telephones, analog telephones, and analog trunks) to the patch
panel.
9 Connect cables to the main unit as required.
