Recall commands from the history buffer as follows:
• To recall the previous command, press the up arrow key, or press [Control]+p.
• To recall the next command, press the down arrow key, or press [Control]+n.
Editing Command Lines
Table 3-1 describes the keystrokes you can use to edit BCC command lines.
For example, use the up arrow key (or [Control] + p) to retrieve your last input,
then use other control-key combinations to edit the command line as needed.

Move the cursor left CONTROL + b
or left arrow key
Move the cursor right CONTROL + f
or right arrow key
Delete the current line CONTROL + u
Delete the word at the cursor location CONTROL + w
Delete the character at the cursor location CONTROL + d
Move the cursor to the beginning of the line CONTROL + a
Move the cursor to the end of the line CONTROL + e
Toggle insert mode CONTROL + o
Delete previous character BKSP or DEL, or
CONTROL + h
Interrupt CONTROL + c
Start echo to the screen CONTROL + q
Stop echo to the screen CONTROL + s
Recall previous command CONTROL + p
or up arrow key
Recall next command CONTROL + n
or down arrow key
