FTP Global Parameter Descriptions

Use the following descriptions as a guide when you conﬁgure the parameters in

the Edit FTP Global Parameters window.

Parameter: Enable/Disable

Default: Enable

Options: Enable

| Disable

Function: Speciﬁes whether the FTP subsystem is enabled or disabled.

Instructions: Specify Disabled if you want to disable FTP on the router.

MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.3.10.1.2

Parameter: Default Volume

Default: Volume 2

Options: Volume 1 to 13, Volume A

Function: Speciﬁes the number of the ﬁle system volume to which FTP writes

transferred ﬁles and from which FTP retrieves ﬁles for transfer.

Instructions: On systems with a diskette, specify Volume A.
