Parameter: BERT Mode Enable
Default: Disable
Options: Enable

Function: Selecting Enable activates BERT mode. You do not need to enable BERT
mode to perform non-BERT actions, such as loop actions, from this
window.
Instructions: To enter BERT mode, select Enable and click on Apply.

Parameter: BERT Test Pattern
Default: Ones
Options: Zeros

Function: Specifies the bit pattern transmitted during BERT diagnostics. When a
port is in BERT mode, it is capable of generating patterns such as all 1s,
all 0s, or a QRSS (quasi-random signal sequence) pattern.
Instructions: Select a test pattern and click on Apply.

Function: Specifies whether or not the logical line can accept fractional T1 loopback
code.
